Time gives an answer

To create good work, a designer always seeks a tranquil mind when one can dwell in a place unviolated by noise and daily clamor. It is said a good work always born of total devotion without other thoughts.

However, living in the modern life one is bounded by social links which makes the old mentality of isolation for an artist more and more unlikely except for a few, who retain the persistence for a single-minded existence.

To understand a designer’s work, one should trace back to his/her mind-set from their earliest works; a good designer always maintains a consistent ideology in making design decisions. A work will be remembered longer not because it meets a marketing demand or is embellished by rich rhetoric, but rather because it has an influential impact on contemporaries or is prominent as an achievement or revolutionary breakthrough.
